From 2016-2019, Bishop Dickerson worked at Goodwill Lower Shore Career Development Center where he served as Job Readiness and Placement Instructor for their Re-Entry Program called Project Reconnect. This is a program designed to assist offenders and ex-offenders who are about to re-enter society and the workforce to return to their communities with career development skills. |

He earned a Bachelors of Theology degree from the International Bible Institute and Seminary in Orlando, FL. He attended the Civic Leadership and Government Academy at Salisbury University and graduated in 1999. In 2005, Bishop Dickerson graduated from the Maryland Institute of Employment in Columbia, MD. Bishop Dickerson is also the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Divinity from the St. Thomas Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida. |

Bishop J. Anthony Dickerson was ordained a deacon at the early age of 12 by Rev. Dr. J. C. Mills, Pastor of the former Holy Trinity Baptist Church in Salisbury, Maryland, and he became an ordained Minister of the Gospel at the age of 18. In 1996, God elevated Bishop Dickerson to the office of Pastor. He was installed as the youngest Pastor of Greater Mt. Olive.
He was also recruited as the first Executive Director of the Christian Shelter in its 40 year history in September of 2019. In 2012, Bishop Dickerson revitalized the Fatherhood Program in Denton, Maryland where he served in the capacity of Coordinator of this successful program, which was recognized by the State of Maryland. In the same year, he also rebirthed and reorganized the D.A.D.S. Support Group (Dads Aiming and Determined to Support). This group advocated for and mentored fathers who had child support and visitation issues. |
