He earned a BS in Zoology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He then earned a MD and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences. A Fellowship was completed in Cardiology from the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. |

He dedicates this recognition to his mentor at the University of Oklahoma, and President of the National Association of Electrophysiologists, Dwight Reynolds, MD and in memory of, Charles Inlow, MD, who was his predecessor and inspiration to become a physician while working as an orderly at Northwest Medical Center. |

Dr. Green was the first cardiologist to implant a bi-ventricular pacemaker and developed the first congestive heart failure clinic in the state. He sits on the advisory board for Abiomed, Inc, where he has worked on global studies involving left ventricular/artificial heart devices. In addition the doctor served with the National Guard, and was instrumental during the Oklahoma City bombing. |
