He earned his MD (6 year program) and completed an Internship and a General Surgical Residency from the National University of Ireland, in Dublin. He spent several years doing clinical Neurosurgery at Northwestern University in Chicago and research on brain implants at Georgia Tech. He also completed a Neurology Residency at Emory University. |

Dr. Kennedy is Chief Scientist & CEO of Neural Signals Inc. He sees patients with general neurological disorders. He also conducts research in his lab with Neural Signals, Inc. regarding brain to computer interfacing to restore speech to those who are mute and paralyzedd, but intelligent and alert. |
