He has been practicing for 39 years, and has been in Dalton GA for 37 years. |

He dedicates this recognition to his grandfather, Dr. Beular B. Richmond, his father Dr. William Fred Richmond, Dr. Mary Lou Lewis, and Dr. W. Kline Bolton. |

He earned a BA from West Virginia University and a MD from West Virginia School of Medicine. Both a Residency and a Fellowship were completed at the University of Virginia. |

In his free time he enjoys traveling and model trains. |

He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). |

As a Nephrologist, Dr. Richmond specializes in issues concerning the kidneys. Nephrology is the study of normal kidney function and kidney disease, the preservation of kidney health and the treatment of kidney disease from diet and medication to renal replacement therapy. |
