She dedicates this recognition to her husband, gastroenterologist Andrew Kelt and to her 2 children, ages 4 and 6. |

She earned her undergraduate degree at St. Olaf College, DO- Rocky Vista University, part of their inaugural class. She completed a fellowship in osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) at Rocky Vista as welll. Her Family Medicine residency was completed at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. After, she went on to teach family practice and Obstetrics at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago. |

She is double board certified in Family Medicine with the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM). |

She has had many mentors along her journey and wishes to thank them all. |

She became a DO after convinced by her husband and is very glad she did. She prefers the DO’s whole body approach to medicine. She really enjoys teaching and lecturing at medical schools. |

She is the recipient of Teaching of Excellence award. She has been named Teacher of the Year, and Most Inspirational Teacher for two out of her three years of employment at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. |
