Her senior year at Dana she became a hospital certified Medical Technologist and a Clinical Lab Scientist. She was a Med Tech at Nebraska Methodist Hospital and worked at Good Sam for 12 years. She was an education counselor. They got a grant to study rural distancing, She provided education to place students in smaller groups in rural setting. They had 100% placement and she was really proud of that. She also worked at the University of Nebraska Kearney as an Instructor for the Medical Lab Science program, ran the student lab. The program they came up with was expanded to surrounding states- University Missouri, University Iowa, South Dakota. The University found hospitals to place all the students in.
