In 1952, Dr. Loder earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (summa cum laude) from Syracuse University in 1952. Three years later, he graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a PhD in Chemistry. |

Dr. Loder is currently retired, but began his career as a senior chemist at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, New York. In the following years, he worked with Maumee Chemical as a director of research, GAF as a laboratory manger and DuBois Chemical, where he was the executive vice president from 1966 until 1985. Today, Dr. Loder excels as the president at both Delray Chemical and ERL & Associates. Prior to his scientific endeavors, he demonstrated success with the United States Navy from 1942 until 1952. He recalls his most memorable experience was surviving a chemical plant explosion on May 10th 1962.
He served as the executive vice president at Du Bois Chemical Co (1965-1985); general electric research fellow, MIT (1954); and currently holds six patents. |
