Born on the island of Antigua, Dr. Buckley was encouraged by his mother to pursue a formal education. However, he did not get the opportunity to finish high school until he relocated to America at 34 years old. In 1979, he became the founder, chief executive officer and prelate at Faith Mission Temple International Inc. Outside of his primary endeavors, Dr. Buckley has found success as the owner of Brooklyn Senior Daycare. Likewise, he has completed missionary work in Eastern and Western African countries. He is additionally involved with the Church of the Nazarene. Throughout his entire career, he has prioritized caring for those with disabilities and providing shelter for those without, all of which has been achieved through his work with his ministry. Dr. Buckley considers one of his greatest achievements to have been planning and building a healthcare clinic in Liberia. Moreover, he enjoyed his experience in administrative roles alongside his time teaching others how to properly care for those in need. |
