He earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from Oklahoma State University in 1971 and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University in 1973. He then went on to achieve a Master of Business Administration in Information Systems from Louisiana State University in 1983 and Master of Science in applied mathematics from Southern University in 1984. Continuing with education, he earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Engineering from Louisiana Tech University in 1984. Upon completion of his degrees, Dr. Ghahramani became a Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas in 1991 and a Certified Professional Ergonomist in 1993, as well as Certified in Information Security Management in 2004. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Harvard Kennedy School Executive Program. |

Dr. Ghahramani is also a well published Author of a book called “My Ephiphany”. It was he as an author who invented the modern electronic eye depth perception testing method. “My Epiphany” shares celestial subliminal, and mystical messages that came to him in poetic form during moments of refection.

Dr. Ghahramani’s career highlights include his innovative patents and receiving the Bell Laboratories Distinguished Member of Technical Staff Award. He began his career as a tenured associate professor for the Management and Marketing Department of Louisiana State University System from 1973 to 1985. From there, he became a distinguished member of the technical staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1985, staying until 1995. He then joined the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1995 as an associate professor until 2001 and from 2001 to 2004, he held the same position at the University of Nebraska. Simultaneously, in 1995, he became the chairman of the board and chief information officer for BG Technical Management Solutions, Inc. and remains in those positions to this day. In 2005, he was a senior systems engineer and lead scientist for General Dynamics until 2010. Before leaving that role, he also took the position of chief technology officer at Europa Telecommunications in 2009, staying until 2012. |

Since 2012, he has been a distinguished and awarded lead scientist with the Department of Homeland Security. As a testament to his success he has received myriad awards including the Fedscoop Innovation of the Year Award from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2016, Peer to Peer Recognition Award from the Department of Homeland Security in 2016, Individual Innovation Award and an NPPD Employee Recognition Award in 2016. |
