He is a valued member of numerous organizations including the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar, the Cook County Bar Association, the Decalogue Society, and the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois. He is also a member of the Family Law Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association.
He is the past president of the Advocates Society of Polish American Attorneys. He is the past president of The Chicago Society of the Polish National Alliance. He is the chairman of the Parentage Subcommittee of the ISBA Family Law Section Counsel. I am a past board member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois. He is the 2018 Person of the Year from the Polish American Police association. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. |

Mr. Rakowski began his legal career in 1990 and is admitted to the Illinois state courts, he has admittance to practice in the courtrooms of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. He has earned his reputation as a skilled trial attorney and a talented negotiator, offering proficiency in both litigation and alternative methods of dispute resolution, including meditation and collaborative law, to maximize client control over the outcome of their case. |
