She has received several honors and awards including the National Defense Service Medal in 1994, the Army Good Conduct Medal in 1997, the Army Reserves Component Achievement Medal in 2000, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal in 2005 and 2006, the Army Achievement Medal in 2004 2005 2009 and 2012, the Army Commendation Medal in 2005 2006 and 2012, and the Meritorious Service Medal in 2012 and 2018– among others. She was also the recipient of the Louisiana Great 100 Nurses in 2016 an honoree of the Celebration of Women in 2017 as well as an honoree of Constable Baton Rouge Louisiana in 2017. |
