Mr. Isaacs' astounding legal career has spanned more than 45 years. After graduating law school in 1974, Isaacs spent one year as an Assistant District Attorney, and three years at the Oklahoma County Public Defender’s Office before entering into successful private practice. In addition to high-profile criminal cases, he has tried a variety of civil cases involving negligence, products liability, conversion, medical malpractice, wrongful termination, probate, oil and gas surface damages, take-or-pay and breach of contract.

A lifelong basketball fan, Isaacs led his Apache High School Warriors in scoring, and turned it into a college career where he played four years at Texas Christian University. After college, he played three years in the New England Basketball league for the Bridgeport Savoys, averaging 28 points. He remains an avid basketball fan to this day.

Well regarded for winning a 1979 acquittal for Gene Leroy Hart, the man accused of raping and killing three young Oklahoma Girl Scouts and the acquittal of Michael Dennis Colby stemming from the 1980 New Mexico prison riots in which 33 inmates were killed, Mr. Isaacs has won many acquittals in murder trials over his career. Among them, State v. Donald Wilson, 1984; State v. Donald Lee Ramsey, 1985; and State v. Carey Dewayne Foster. He has also represented many charged with drug offenses, including Guido Leon of Miami, FL accused of conspiring to smuggle a planeload of marijuana from Columbia into the United States. In 1993, Isaacs obtained an acquital for basketball coach Gilbert Gonzales, accused of molesting two of his players. In civil court, he has successfully taken on the Catholic church, as well as major manufacturers in Moore v. Subaru ($1500,000 verdict) and Dodson v. Henderson Properties ($2,250,000 verdict).
