Dr. Gedafa has been teaching at the University of North Dakota for five years. Inspired to enter pavement and materials research industry because he grew up in an area with no paved roads, Dr. Gedafa’s advice to individuals entering the field is: “Civil engineering is the building blocks of civilization. We are serving humanity by improving the quality of life. We are also reducing fuel costs and travel time.” |
