Officer and member of the Lidgerwood Camera Club since 1958 to present day, active in the area Tri-Community Theater of south East North Dakota promoting the arts and works with staging, customs, acting and promotion University Women Community Club of Wyndmere Phi Theta Kappa, the International Scholar Laureate Program |

She uses her business to serve community events, churches, schools, and family events. For over 30 years she has been a judge for the area fairs at county and 4-H events. Virginia enjoys working with young people in many areas and teaches work shops in the arts of photography and flowers design. She teaches in the church ministry and works as a volunteer with the elder in St Catherine Living Center. Virginia has been a volunteer in the restoration of a historical site Bagg Bonanza Farm in the past 20 years and is a tour guide, historian, and photographer for it. |

Virginia married David Goerger in 1958 and he died of Cancer in 2001. The had 3 children Ida, Rosemary, Edmund, and 7 grandchildren. |

In 2010 she edited and published the 125th Wyndmere-Barney History book of feature many of her photography. In 2011 She developed and edited the Bogg Farm History and Recipe Book. |
